Searching for a place to put on some of my thoughts, to share interests, tastes, less or more productive creations of any kind, and basically everything that comes to my mind, I decided to start a blog and share it with you. Thus, this is the very beginning of my activity, on my very own corner of the web.
Firstly, meet the blog's author, 福田 / Fukuda, or if you prefer, Marie.
Both are okay. I'm gonna use the first one on the blog.
I was born on August 26th, which makes me a zodiacal Virgo.
I'm a college student, starting from this year. Currently I live in Wroclaw, Poland.
I'm extremely interested in music, it's actually not only listening. My other interests are Japanese tradition, history and pop culture, which inspire me and sometimes you will be able to notice this fact. I also like lots of other Japanese things, like music you can see on my last.fm. The artist who will be always the most special one to me, is definitely ルルティア / Rurutia.
I don't watch Japanese shows too often, but I like Ghibli movies. My favorite one forever is 千と千尋の神隠し / Spirited Away. My favorite anime show in episodes would be 一週間フレンズ。 / One week friends, or 黒子のバスケ / Kuroko's basketball. My totally favorite manga ever is シャーマンキング (Shaman King), but I also like ノラガミ / Noragami. And then, my favorite game is most likely either ゆめにっき / Yume Nikki, or 薄桜鬼 / Hakuouki.
About non-Japanese things, I'm quite a Potterhead, although it mkight about time to re-read the books, because I read it long time ago for the last time. I'm still a fan though, I just don't know if I should call myself a true fan.
I truly adore nature, like landscapes, flora, or the weather, so I often take photographs of something I find beautiful and I would like to share them with you at times, too.
Honestly, I also like doing makeup, so this is the next thing I'd like to share, although I'm afraid that I won't make tutorials very often, if any. We will see, I guess.
I also like fashion, like Japanese street fashion, or cute/pastel/sporty clothes with nice patterns, prints, etc. So there would appear some OOTD pictures, as well as some reviews.
The important fact is that I learn and study languages, and I like to do it, actually. However, it doesn't change the fact that English isn't my first language, while I'm still just a student, and if I ever make any mistake, I'm really sorry. I hope I will be understandable enough though.
For other languages, I'm currently learning Japanese too, and I used to learn German, and Russian for a very short time. I would love to learn Chinese and Italian one day.
That's enough of my interests for now, I'm sure you will get to know me more later♪
Additionally, I worked on the layout so that it would match my tastes and be clear, aesthetic, readable and not annoying at the same time. I hope you will like this one. How do you feel about it?
